I thought I would switch things up for this edition of Daniel’s Dish and write a ‘featurette’ of sorts for a soon-to-be Toronto favourite. Love it or hate it, the burger craze is in full force in Toronto and the Parts and Labour (coming soon to Daniel’s Dish) crew have thrown it down with The P&L Burger to partake in what has quickly become a staple food option.
A good burger should be fresh. It needs to be messy. And most importantly, it needs to be DELICIOUS. Rest assured that this new addition to Queen West hits all those points and more.
The PL Burger
The Deluxe Burger
My two favourites off the menu are The Deluxe burger & Kale salad hands down. A kale salad at a burger joint? Yes, you read that right – a Kale salad served up that is all about flavour. Bitter greens with a homemade caesar salad dressing so garlicy & delicious you’ll be tasting it for days. I couldn’t get enough of this item and when you try it, you’ll understand why.
For the gluten sensitive reader, the all-beef patty can be wrapped up for you as well in kale so that you too can indulge in these great flavours. With in-house seating or take-out options, I love the feeling from door to kitchen. Typical “Queen West” with smiling, beautifully tattooed staff.
The Castor Burger
A straight-forward menu, classic fountain and bottle drinks, and even soft served iced cream to kill those cravings, I definitely encourage you to head on over to The P&L Burger for what I can assure you is worth the wait in line!
