So, for those of you who don’t know, World MasterCard Fashion Week is about to settle upon Toronto once more. It’s a very exciting time of year and the celebration of what Fashion is all about in Canada. One event that is actually taking place this weekend pre-fashion week is one that I encourage you all to come join us at! Come and see why on Saturday October 18th Youth Love Fashion is going to be the place to be.
Taking the time to celebrate and foster talented young designers, Youth Love Fashion will be taking place at InterContinental Toronto Centre’s Azure restaurant from 2:00-5:00pm on Saturday October 18th 2014.
“A celebration of Canadian fashion for all ages, Youth Love Fashion will unite youth and their families, politicians, local celebrities and youth-focused agencies and community partners to shine a spotlight on 11 talented student designers who have overcome adversity – from blindness to bullying to financial hardship – and honed their skills during a free five-month student fashion program.”
Present by PACT Urban Peace Program in conjuction with our friends at PRODUCT Magazine, The Toronto School Board and sewing studio The Make Den, the day is sure to be a celebration of those same names and faces that we will no doubt see in Fashion Weeks of the future.
For your tickets pre-event make sure to click here. Tickets will also be available at The Make Den for purchase. Tickets are $5.00 for guests under 21 and $10.00 for all others with net proceeds being donated to the youth designer’s charity of choice.
