With just a few days left before the Holidays, I’m sure that most of you are like me and could use a break. Amid the hustle and bustle of the city of Toronto, there seems to be numerous options for spas to pamper yourself and the ones you love. Julio & I recently had the chance to visit Trump Toronto‘s newly rebranded Purebeauty Salon & Spa and I can assure you that it is by far the best spa in Toronto. Come and see what our experiences were like and how you can enter to win a chance to experience it for yourself!
As 2014 comes to an end, I am able to look back and see all the amazing things that the team & I have experienced and shared with you via DoTheDaniel.com. Some of my absolute favourite moments have occurred at Trump Toronto and it’s beautiful restaurant America. The staff at the hotel are always so inviting and look to make your experience as perfect as possible. From the immaculate decor upon entering the hotel lobby, to the customizable rooms should you chose to stay the night… It is, without a doubt, my favourite Luxury Hotel in Toronto. Over the course of 2014 Trump Toronto has undergone several evolutions to meet the needs of its ever growing clientele. One of these changes has been the rebranding of the spa to the newly launched Purebeauty Salon & Spa. When I found out about the change, I contacted the spa to inquire about what this meant. Luckily for Julio & I, they invited us to be the first media outlet to come in and review the space and services.
From the friendly staff members at the front who greet you with a smile to the modern ambiance set by the decor… it was, pardon the pun, purely perfect. With a wide array of traditional spa & salon treatments available to you upon your visit, one might assume that Purebeauty is just another luxury spa. That is where you are wrong! Not only is Purebeauty Spa & Salon different because it isn’t gimmicky or located in passé neighbourhoods of the city, but it also now offers express treatments to accommodate your busy life. No longer are you restricted to weekend getaways to the spa or salon (though they are fantastic for those as well obviously!). Yet another reason why you simply must experience it for yourself on your lunch at the office or for a quick visit after work before you commute home.
Of the available treatments, I knew that both Julio & I needed a massage to unwind after a busy year and before a hectic holiday season. One of my favourite staff members Stella and her extremely handsome colleague George were ready and waiting for us. We enjoyed a couple massage with the availability to open conjoining rooms beautifully adorned with spa decor and relaxing music. This is the perfect option for those of you looking for a romantic experience. The express massage took a total of 30 minutes and was just the right amount of time to enjoy during a busy day. I see myself returning when I need an escape from the office or some “me time.” This express option helps you to take advantage of a much needed massage when you don’t have a few hours to spare. Stella and George are truly the perfect representation of the friendly staff. Both of them are so fantastic at what they do and had us laughing with them like we were all close friends. I left feeling both mentally and physically relaxed and ready for the rest of the day.
As we moved into the Salon for further treatments I was amazed at the size of the space. Purebeauty is a huge location but sections itself off in a way that still feels intimate. While Julio enjoyed a manicure with the lovely Sarah to touch up those beautiful hands of his, I opted for a much needed haircut with Head Stylist Fabio Cedrone.
You have to understand that my hair is extremely thick, curly and coarse. I am not one to easily trust a stylist because if you cut my hair the wrong way or rush, it takes weeks for my hair to grow out from the mistake. As I sat in the chair and sipped on a cup of coffee, Fabio and I got to talking. He told me of his experience, what Purebeauty meant to him and slowly took his time to “learn” my hair. I trusted him entirely by the end of the experience and came out feeling like a new man. With a small staff of stylists on board, the feeling conveyed was that I was important and had his undivided attention. There is no reason to not take the time to properly have your hair styled, because as Fabio said, it is your best accessory and should compliment the person you are and want to be.
From start to finish the staff at Purebeauty Spa & Salon helped to show me that they are the best Spa in Toronto. It was my favourite experience and truly spoke to the professionalism I have come to expect at Trump Toronto. I want to express a sincere thank you to the staff for an experience that I will be raving about for months to come. This is the only option that I will be recommending for anyone in Toronto, be you resident or tourist, looking for a Spa or Salon experience that will surpass all others.
